Honoring Our Loved Ones - Yizkor Book and Yahrzeit Plaque

These holy days convey to us a sense of family togetherness and remind us of the memories we shared with our loved ones who are no longer with us. At the Woodbury Jewish Center, we offer spiritually meaningful ways to memorialize your loved ones at the beginning of the Jewish New Year.

Yizkor Memorial Book

By placing your loved ones' names in our annual Yizkor Memorial Book, which contains prayers and psalms to be read during the Yizkor Services - recited on Yom Kippur, Sh'mini Atzeret, Pesach and Shavuot - you will be remembering them at these most meaningful of services.  You can fill out the form online here (you must log in to fill out the form), or download the Yizkor Book form here to print and mail back to the office.  Last day to submit your names for this year's book is August 23, 2019

Yahrzeit Memorial Plaque

By erecting a plaque in our Main Sanctuary, their memory will be rekindled.  A light will be lit next to their plaque on the anniversary of their passing, as well as on the four occasions previously mentioned when Yizkor is recited.  Plaques are also available to be ordered as “Reserved” for future use.  You can fill out the form online here (you must log in to fill out the form, or download the Yahrzeit Plaque form here to print and mail back to the office.  Last day to submit plaque orders for this year's High Holy Days arrival is August 5, 2019
