What is Hakhel?
Thank you for joining us to read the Whole Torah!! Below you can sign up for one or more chapters of the Torah. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to read the chapter(s) you volunteered for by Monday March 27th.
Below you can sign up for one or more chapters of the Torah. After finishing your chapter, please write a 3-4 sentence summary and 1-2 follow-up questions. We will then compile all of the summaries/questions into one area on our website for anyone to use. When you have finished your summary and questions, please submit them to Charlene Levy at clevy@woodburyjc.org who will work on editing; Rabbi Fruithandler will look over each as well. Please be aware we will fix spelling or grammar on our own but may reach out to you if we have any suggestions about content.
