For Families with Children in K-6
Please note the important information for the days below regarding services & programming for all families with children in K-6th:
• Rosh Hashanah Day 1: Tuesday, September 23rd
• Rosh Hashanah Day 2: Wednesday, September 24th
• Yom Kippur: Thursday, October 2nd
In addition to our Morning Service in the Sanctuary beginning at 9:00 AM, we are offering special services and programming for your family.
• Lower Service: Families with children ages 0–2nd grade
• Upper Service: Families with children in 2nd–7th grade
• Both begin at 10:00 AM sharp! (so please plan on arriving early to get through the security line)
At 11:00 AM, we’ll all come together in the sanctuary for the shofar blowing service.
Following this, you have the option to bring your children to our K–6 Student Drop-Off Metukah Program 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM. Advance sign-up is required.
This is a drop-off program, so while your children are with our dedicated school staff, you’ll be free to join the congregation in the sanctuary for the sermons and Yizkor.
Groups will be organized as follows:
• Grades K & 1
• Grade 2
• Grade 3
• Grade 4
• Grades 5 & 6
• Grade 7 and Teens
Important notes:
• In each room, there will be opportunities for age appropriate crafts and exciting activities.
• Each child will receive a name tag with their name, emergency contact, and cell number to ensure safety.
• Due to staffing, supplies, and scheduling, we cannot accommodate children who are not pre-registered.
• Advance registration is required for K-6 to guarantee your child’s spot.
• For the safety of all, children not enrolled in our K-6 program must remain with their family at all times.
• Pick up is at 12:30 PM or after Rabbi finishes his sermon. Following that, you’re welcome to join services in the sanctuary with your whole family.
