Woodbury Jewish Center Religious School is excited to announce the 2024-2025 learning program for the coming year.
Building upon the success of our hybrid model, most religious school classes will be a combination of in-person and virtual learning. Each remote session will be 45 minutes in length and maintaining a small group setting of 4-6 students maximum. The selection of this time slot will be part of the registration process. To maximize learning this will be a maximum - so please register as early as possible to lock in the time that is convenient for you.
*Please note: remote sessions will begin 15 minutes later this coming year
(Wed: 4:30-5:15, 5:15- 6:00, 6:00-6:45 and Sun: 9:15-10:00, 10:00-10:45, 10:45-11:30)
For Families with Children Enrolling in K-2 Only - Young Family Membership is Now Offered
We are thrilled to offer a new Young Family Membership level for the upcoming year. This membership is available exclusively to families whose oldest child is in our Kindergarten through 2nd grade program only and is at a substantially discounted rate of $360/year, renewable each year until your oldest child enters 3rd grade. This membership includes access to events and activities at WJC, including all High Holy Days services and our family programming for the High Holy Days. Extended families and friends are welcomed for the High Holy Days for a nominal fee.
Please note: Should you choose to opt out of membership, the WJC will not be able to offer most of the benefits listed here, including High Holy Days tickets and programming. This discounted rate falls well below the full operating costs per family required to keep the WJC flourishing. If you choose to opt out, please email office@woodburyjc.org by Aug. 14th.
For Families with the Oldest Child Enrolling in 3rd Grade (Aleph) - Full Family Membership is Required
As you know, WJC requires all families with children in 3rd grade and up to have Full Family Membership. We will automatically transition your current membership status to Full Family Membership once your oldest child enrolls in aleph class.
The registration form will open on Monday, May 6th.
At that time, you will be able to pay your deposit and choose your child's 45 minute remote session to secure your spot. Looking forward to another wonderful year of learning!
