WHAT DOES ALL THIS "VIRTUAL" MEAN?

Some of WJC Virtual Services will be through Zoom and some will be live-streamed.

More information on zooming can be found below.

Our main holiday services for Rosh Hashanah Day 1, 2 and Yom Kippur will be live-streamed and recorded using a production company named Waterworxx.

These services will be available to members only: both online HERE and in-person to those who have ordered advanced tickets.
Due to NYS COVID-19 guidelines, only those with advanced tickets will be allowed to enter the building and seats are assigned.

If you are a member and are not able to access this link https://www.woodburyjc.org/5781 now, we urge you to read the FAQ below now.  We do not want you to encounter any difficulties during the holidays.  We may not be in the office and available to help you during that time.

FAQ

I'm a member, how do I access the live-stream?

Access to view these services online will be HERE and is limited only to members.

I clicked on the link, but it says I need to log in, what now?

Yes, access is limited to members only, so you will need to log in.  Your username is the email we have on file for you.  If you don't remember your password, you can click "forgot password" and then check your email to reset it.  If you are still having trouble, please email us ASAP office@woodburyjc.org so we can send you a link to log in.

How do I know I'm logged in?

You will know when you have entered your username and password and it says "Welcome, Your Name" at the top right.

I logged in, but I still can't access the streaming services, why?

If you see "Welcome, Your Name" at the top right, but still cannot access this part of our website, this may be because your account is not current.

How do I bring my account current?

You can do so in one of 3 ways:
1) Go to "my account" at the top right" and "pay my bill".  You can pay by credit card or ACH.  You can also set up payments to be split, or
2) Call the office and we can process your payment over the phone, or
3) Mail us a check or drop it off in the vestibule on the desk.  There is a red mailbox on the desk.  Please do not wait until the last minute.  Our office staff is extremely busy preparing for the holidays and my not process your payment in time for you to access these services.

How can I get a statement?

Go to "my account" at the top right" and "view my statements"

I logged in, what now?

Once you have logged in, you will see a screen and a triangle to click on so you can "play" the services live.

How Can we possibly do services in an hour and a half?

The main experience is the big screen that says “streamspot” click on the triangle in the middle and you watch our abbreviated services live.  In addition to the video there are a series of links in the “connections” section to go more in-depth.  These links are a series of prayers that we are not including in our abbreviated services, divrei torah, interesting articles, and ideas for making these High Holy Day Special.  Our live abbreviated service will include an abbreviated torah service, a sermon, and an abbreviated musaf service.  It will also include where appropriate an abbreviated shofar service and a full yizkor service. In our prayer section in the “connections” below there is a link to hear our own Marty Pollack lead a full shacharit service, Yom Kippur mincha, Michael Cohen doing a full shofar service, and some prayers we won’t be including in our service from Cantor Cohen.

How do I get a High Holy Day Prayer Book?

When you pick up your yummy Sweet Treat Gift Box and Fresh Challah on Wednesday, Sept. 15th 10am-5pm, you can sign out a book as well!

If you have any questions or concerns regarding your membership and would like to speak with us, please call or email the office.
